Nigerian music sensation Burna Boy has fired back at fellow musician Eedris Abdulkareem for his recent criticism. In a podcast session, Abdulkareem condemned Burna Boy for claiming that he received no support from the music industry during his early days.

In 2020, Burna Boy stirred controversy when he asserted that he had received no assistance from his senior colleagues and that nobody had supported him. According to him, they were too focused on their own pursuits or criticizing other artists.

Eedris Abdulkareem took offense to Burna Boy’s remarks and did not hesitate to voice his disagreement, dismissing the statement as “stupid talk.” He expressed his dissent in a recent video.

Reacting to Abdulkareem’s comments, Burna Boy took to Twitter to hit back at the veteran musician. He shifted the blame away from Abdulkareem himself and directed it towards those who had financially contributed to his healthcare when he needed a kidney transplant.

In a now-deleted tweet, Burna Boy wrote, “Abdul Kareem, or whatever they call your father, I don’t blame you. I blame the people who donated money for your hospital bills. I wish you were someone who could access the places that I frequent, so that we could accidentally meet.”

Burna Boy’s response has sparked further debate and conversation among fans and the music community, with many expressing their opinions on the ongoing feud between the two artists.

As the controversy unfolds, it remains to be seen whether there will be any resolution or further escalation between Burna Boy and Eedris Abdulkareem. Fans will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on the situation as it develops.
