Ex-Nasarawa Senator is Dead
APC Chieftain and former Nasarawa Senator, Abubakar Danso Sodangi, has been confirmed dead. The influential politician and member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) passed away on Sunday at the age of 70.
Senator Sodangi had a long and distinguished political career, representing the Nasarawa West constituency in the Nigerian Senate for 12 years. He was first elected as a senator in May 1999 and was subsequently re-elected in 2003 and 2007.
