Nigerian Vice-President Shettima has urged citizens to foster innovative idea and actions to propel the ongoing transformation agenda within the nation. Emphasizing the pivotal role of innovation in realizing Nigeria’s aspirations of global prominence, he stressed its indispensable nature in achieving national development goals.

Addressing attendees at an event in Abuja, held on Thursday, the Vice-President underscored the imperative of supporting initiatives like the Israel-Nigeria Innovation Fellowship for Aspiring Inventors & Researchers. Shettima articulated that such endeavors serve as catalysts for advancing the transformation agenda, urging Nigerians to actively contribute to their success.

Reported by Newsmen, Shettima articulated, “We inhabit a dynamically evolving digital landscape, where today’s realities and tomorrow’s innovations converge through the power of technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, and the internet.” He highlighted the remarkable array of innovative endeavors already witnessed, many of which have been successfully commercialized and are making significant impacts both domestically and internationally.

Asserting that this represents just the tip of the iceberg, Vice-President Shettima has urged citizens to foster innovative idea and also appealed to all stakeholders to wholeheartedly endorse and support the underlying concept of such innovation hubs, recognizing their transformative potential.
