Sisi Quadri Biography
Sisi Quadri, also known as Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, is a renowned veteran Yoruba actor in the comedy industry. He gained widespread recognition for his exceptional performance in the film “Seniyan Seranko” on December 4, 2004.
Having a strong presence in online skit-making and the Yoruba movie industry, Sisi Quadri established himself as a popular comic actor.
He was born on December 26, 1979, in Osun State to Mr. and Mrs. Oyebamiji. Initially, his father had aspirations for him to become a Muslim preacher. As a result, Sisi Quadri completed his elementary and secondary education in Ore, Ondo State, before returning to his birthplace in Osun to pursue studies in Arabic and the Quran.
In 1999, he enrolled in a fashion school where he studied fashion design and successfully graduated. His passion for learning led him to further his education at Iree Polytechnic in Osun State, where he obtained a diploma.
Sisi Quadri’s acting journey began in 2000 when he was introduced to Toyin Olaiya, a lecturer and mentor. His breakthrough came with his portrayal of an “insulting” character in the Yoruba epic film “Seniyan Seranko,” marking a significant turning point in his career. Following this success, he took an extended break and later achieved triumph in the popular comedy film “Ebudola” in 2020. This film featured his close friend Funmi Awelewa and propelled him into the spotlight.
