Pastor Adeboye Responds to Critics with Resolute Faith: ‘God’s Strength Prevails’
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has issued a rebuttal to his critics, Abel Damina, and other detractors. Addressing the congregation during his sermon and anointing service at the monthly Holy Ghost service on Friday, April 5, Pastor Adeboye urged caution among those who criticize and mock him. Emphasizing the consequences of such behavior, he highlighted that those who engage in such actions often face unfortunate ends.
Adeboye referenced the humility of Paul, a significant figure in Christianity who claimed to be “less than the least of the saints” in Ephesians 3:8. Drawing a parallel, he expressed his own humility, asserting that he is nothing compared to the magnitude of Paul’s contributions to the New Testament. Despite any perceived shortcomings, Adeboye emphasized the supremacy of his God, stating that divine wisdom surpasses human understanding.
In a firm tone, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has issued a rebuttal to his critics and addressed the derogatory remarks aimed at him, stating, “Adeboye is one stupid boy, and I would prove it to you before I close.” However, he juxtaposed his own perceived insignificance with the omnipotence of his God, portraying a picture of divine strength. Quoting scripture, he underscored the biblical principle that those whom God chooses to use are often perceived as weak, foolish, and insignificant in the eyes of the world. Therefore, while criticism directed at Adeboye may be tolerated, any disrespect towards his God is intolerable.
The overarching message conveyed by Adeboye is one of humility, resilience, and unwavering faith in the supremacy of his God. Despite facing criticism and mockery, he remains steadfast in his belief that divine power transcends human limitations, and those who place their trust in God will ultimately prevail.
Good faith. I appreciate that
